The big story here is that finally "Top Artists" on MySpace are starting to help nonprofits on MySpace... it's not the widget... MySpace fundraising widgets have been around for over two years (and very few people donate to them... yet)... it's that MySpace is the social networking website of pop culture... and the 8,000,000+ musicians on there by far get the most traffic, yet less that 1% have nonprofits in their top friends much less fundraise for them... so good for Hilary Duff!

That's why I list a socially responsible artist of the month each month on the Nonprofit Organizations MySpace:

Hoping that musicians will help out nonprofits on MySpace!

Thanks for the post.

I saw this on MySpace recently, but was unsure of how it would be accepted should I put it on my page. I don;t want it to appear I am only into networking for the money, as I really am there to find individuals and organizatgions who can benefit from my programs. Any suggestions?
