Good stuff as always. Timing is everything right? I'm in the midst of putting my annual plan and budget together for our FY which begins Oct.1. Mal reminds us what many online gurus are saying...there's no magic bullet to online fundraising. That said, our org (and I suspect many others) are challenged with getting existing constituents to simply provide us with their email addresses. This is the most important objective for online fundraising I believe and I am disappointed that we as fundraisers haven't put more emphasis on cultivating email addresses. Crafting the best online campaign ever to a small percentage of your overall donor base is well, small.
